Ameresco announces partnership with Wakefield Municipal Gas & Light to install energy-efficient solar arrays

Install (470) 490W photovoltaic modules, the total output power of the array is 230 KW

FRAMINGHAM, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Ameresco, Inc. (NYSE: AMRC), a leading clean technology integrator focused on energy efficiency and renewable energy, today announced the installation of energy-efficient solar arrays designed to Power Generation 230 has partnered with Wakefield Municipal Gas and Light Department (WMGLD) to supply a total of (470) 490W PV modules.

The project is divided into two separate systems, the first system (Equipment Garage, Community Solar, Array A) has 124.5 kWp capacity installed in front of the meter to allow efficient use of off-site energy by the local community. The second system (office, net metering, array B) has 106 kWp of solar generation capacity and is located behind the meter to increase utilization, reliability and flexibility of the on-site energy system.

Annual production from the first and second arrays is expected to be 143,400 kWh and 118,731 kW respectively, funded through the Community Solar Offtake Program and net metering tariffs.
