Stratasys adds HD printing to its leading SAF product lineup; announces upgraded H350

H350 enhanced version, improved performance and service capabilities

High definition introduction

Stratasys' new HD printing capabilities are designed to enable more accurate, detailed resolution HD printing. This enables manufacturers to quickly scale their additive manufacturing while creating more complex parts and expanding their design capabilities with reliable repeatability. Customers from industries such as aerospace, automotive and healthcare can leverage SAF thermal control to create applications that require smooth, precise functionality such as gears and mechanisms.

Adam Ellis, enterprise applications manager at Stratasys, said high-definition printing enables tighter tolerances, mobile components and a range of new applications for SAF customers. Bringing HighDef to our customers will help us expand and enhance their capabilities and increase their adoption of 3D printing in manufacturing roles.

As part of the firmware update, HD printing from Stratasys will be backwards compatible with previous H350 models and will be available to customers at no additional cost.

New H350

Stratasys launches new H350 V1.5 printer. This new printer has improved sensors and remote service capabilities, making the printer easier to operate and service. H350 V1.5 will also come with the new Stratasys HighDef Printing firmware update.

Torben Lange, vice president of research and development for Stratasys SAF, said the new features and upgraded H350 meet the performance requirements our customers have put forward to us, which will enable them to further benefit from additive manufacturing, especially SAF technology. New applications and use cases will enable manufacturers to scale production with more complex parts without compromising speed or quality.
